Tomorrow by 1pm I will be introducing a new base called Milky Wool! It’s a soft, shimmery 50/50 blend of milk protein fiber and merino wool. Each skein is 115 grams/500 yards and knits up to a light fingering (or a heavy laceweight if you knit with a death grip!).
So far I’ve dyed up a few skeins of Jekyll, a blend of two very different grays and a black:
Also a deep red (thanks for the suggestion, Susan!) that I like to call Red Velvet Cupcake (no picture yet!)
Some more Magic Carpet for you,
and a test skein (OOAK) that Mr. Skeinny Dipping likes, so that might be a good one for making a nice scarf for the man in your life.
I’ve also dyed up a very Spring-inspiring blue called Vervet, but those will get posted in the shop next week since this week is all about paperwork (ugh).
I have some skeins left undyed, so if there is a color you would like to see, let me know!
If you haven’t done so already, please join us at Facebook.
Coming in February: a 50/50 silk/wool blend that is to DYE for 🙂
